Trekking viewer User’s guide
The Trekking viewer is a map service accessible from a web navigator.
NavigationTo move into the map it’s possible to do the following actions:
- Move the map by clicking
- By shift button pressing and selecting an area with the mouse the map gets closer to the selection
- With double click the map gets one zoom level closer. The central point of the map will be the clicked point
- With the wheel’s mouse you can zoom in or zoom out the map
You can also use the navigation buttons:

- Arrows: by clicking the arrow button you can move the map to North, South, East or West.
- Zoom in: by clicking the + button the map will zoom in to the center view.
- Zoom out: by clicking the - button the map will zoom out from the center view.
- By moving inside the column you can zoom in or out at the 9 levels configurated: movement can be done by dragging with the mouse up or down,
or clicking into the boxes.

It's possible to move the map by selecting in the pull-down menu:
- To select a route: the route or path selected will become the center view
in the map, highlighting it with a dark green colour the route or path selected
- To select a refuge: the refuge selected will become the
center view in the map
- To select a municipality: the municipality selected will become the center view in the map
Contents
By clicking the

button you can activate or deactivate the contains window.

- You can control the view of the cartography, air photograph or both throw a transparency level
- These layers are always activated and the user cannot control it
- This layer is visible till an scale 1:25.000. The user cannot control it
- This layer can be visible at all scales by clicking the boxes:
Activated Deactivated
- These layers can be visible from an scale 1:25.000. These layers are not visible with a more general view
- These layers can be visible from an scale 1:12.500. These layers are not visible with a more general view

button you can drop-down the legend for the extra information layers |
Icons and visualize information windows
Punctually elements are representated by icons in the map.
By clicking the icon is opened a window who shows the extra information for the selected element.
The central point of routes and paths are visualized with an icon. By clicking these icons a window who shows the extra information of the selected route or
path is opened and it gets highlighted with a dark green colour. To take out the selection click again the icon of the selected element.
Language
By the pull-down menu you can select
the language in the viewer between: Catalan, Spanish, English, German or French
PrintWith the print button

, situated at the viewer's top bar, you can form a map to be printed in a DIN-A4 paper, the area of the map will be the current view at the moment of
printing. The printed map will include a title, situation map, legend, scale, north arrow, the reference system and the necessary elements in a printed
map.
Elements that appear in the printed map match not exactly up with the viewed elements in the screen. In the printed map doesn't appear
paths in project and photography situations. It will appear refuge's name, recreation areas, museum and heritage.
Situation MapSituation map helps to be oriented in a bigger area by a red square that shows our view position.
It can be visible or not by clicking the

button.
It's possible to move the view by moving the red square in the situation map.
CreditsIt's possible to show them by clicking the

button.
They will show information about the developer of the trekking viewer and used sources.
