Functions and aims
Functions of the Insular Direction of Assistance to Municipalities are:
- Managing the services of support and advising to the municipalities.
- Managing the services of European assistances at the different towns.
- Promoting and coordinating the municipalities of the local network of Agenda 21.
- Supporting the local authorities to develop of the economic activity.
- Studying and possibility of creating new advising services, focusing the attention on the real needs of the town councils.
