Selective exams for the covering, through the system of competitive examinations, of vacant posts at the Consell de Mallorca

1. The object of this announcement is covering several vacant posts for the staff of Government employees and laboral workers of the Consell de Mallorca.
2. Legal frame: This announcement, despite will probably be carried out during 2007 and 2008, is included in the frame of the offer of public occupation corresponding to the year 2006 and, specifically, of the posts of consolidation of temporary occupation, with the aim of definitively covering the posts occupied by temporary workers or Government employees, in accordance to the forecasts of the Law 30/2005, of the 29th of December, of general budgets of the State for the year 2006, that permits offering all the posts occupied by temporary workers or hired before the 1st of January of 2005.
3. The vacant posts will be divided into three phases. Each one will have its own terms of presentation of applications, in which the presented application forms could only refer to the posts included at the correspondant phase.
4. Each phase will have two different terms of presentation of documents:
- In the first term, planned for the presentation of applications to take part at the selective proofs: the owning of the demanded requirements must be proved in the terms stipulated at the basis to present the chosen post, without giving in any document referred to merits.
- In the second term, the candidates who have passed the exercises of the competitive exam may give in the documents that prove their merits in order to be valuated by the board.
5. Likewise, each phase will have its corresponding announcement of proofs of Catalan for the candidates who have not proved having made it before. These proofs will be made by levels of knowledge of the language at the beginning of the proceeding of selection of each phase.
6. The system to get the posts offeered is of competitive examinations:
- Exercises of competitive examinations: Proofs of selection according to the specific list of topics of every post.
- Procedure of the competitive examination: the board will only count the merits proved by the candidates who have passed the exercises of the examination.

- This collection of the regulations, written down and systematized by Bartomeu Tous Aymar and Jeroni Mas Rigo, general secretary and attached secretary, respectively, of the Consell de Mallorca, began in April of the year 2003 and from this moment on it has been periodically updated. The last version was closed on March 9th, 2007.
