The activities are based on a visit, either to a heritage element or to a natural area, during which observations are conducted by the monitor from a selection of basic contents, which are not usually too numerous, as the information overload affects the receptiveness of the students.

On the other hand, a series of activities have been launched at schools; these new proposals can be found in more detail in our new environmental education brochure 2009-2010 (cat).

It is a program aimed to bring near the school children and everyone in general the task developed by the Consell de Mallorca, of restoration of the historic, industrial elements, and at the same time release the traditions, teh history, the economy, the Nature and in general the culture of Majorca and the Environment.

Purposes

• Giving consciousness and preserving our natural and cultural heritage to bring near the school children to ethical and responsible attitudes according to the principles of the sustainable development.
• Discovering the relevance of the heritage elements of the Majorcan culture and know the history and traditions of Majorca.
• Releasing the different projects and resources of the department of Environment
