The Consell de Mallorca wants to put at the reach of the citizens the new technologies, as is the case of Internet, in its public spaces.

Currently there have been two show proofs to know, on one hand, the real needs of the citizens and, on the other, the ones od the mass media.

The aim is introducing wi-fi in all the public buildings of the Consell and also contributing to expand it at the town councils od Majorca in the next months.

In the case of the citizens, if they already could connect to the Net via a laptop at the library of handmade culture, that is located at the building of la Misericordia, now we have begun offering this service for free at the gardens of la Misericordia.

The Consell has set into motion a show proof at the plenary room and at the press room of its building of Palau Reial, the head office of the presidency of the Consell de Mallorca.
